Team 1

Kevin Richardson


Kevin has 48 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He graduated at the top of his class from the Apprenticeship Training School in 1981. He earned his Master Electrical license in 1981.

Kevin has either managed or owned an electrical contracting firm for the last 35 years. Kevin started Kevco Electrical Construction, Inc. in 1994. His current job duties are sales and management of Kevco Electrical. He oversees all aspects of this company, from estimating, project management to quality control.

Chuck Beasley


Chuck has recently been promoted to Vice President / Operations Manager. He oversees all projects and manages day to day operations. Chuck has 42 years in the electrical industry. He has brought many good attributes to Kevco Electrical. He has a great work ethic and works well with all of our customers. Chuck earned his Master Electrical license in 1999.

Chuck manages some of our large projects. He has the ability to dissect projects and find problems before they impact the project. He has extensive computer skills and has years of experience with computer estimating software. Chuck is experienced in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) for Design Build projects and Engineering.

Larry Maxam

Project Executive

Larry is a project executive manager for Kevco Electrical. Since graduating in 1978, he has been an electrician for 44 years. On account of his decades in the industry, he possesses great knowledge and brings his expertise to the table while providing meticulous design capabilities.

Larry’s expertise is in Visual Design and Construction Management. He also has extensive computer skills, is certified in AutoCAD MEP, and has 20 years of experience being a superintendent at job sites. His vast knowledge of the field, exceptional work ethic, and positive demeanor make him a valuable asset to our team.

Chuck Beasley Jr.

Project Manager

Chuck Jr. has been with Kevco since 2013 and has 20-years of experience in the industry. He previously served Kevco as a construction Superintendent and was recently promoted to the position of General Superintendent / Project Manager. Chuck holds his Master License and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Construction group that he leads and is a valuable asset to our Project Management team in coordinating our field operations.

Martin Ybarra

Project Manager
Martin is a Project Manager with Kevco and has been in the trade since 1993 and has 29 years in the electrical trade. Martin has experience in Planned development and lead complex projects from inception through completion. Martin has brought his experience in management, Bluebeam, Cad designs, layout and budgeting which make him a valuable team member.

John Paterson

Project Manager

John has over 23 years of electrical experience, that started as an Electrician’s Mate in the U.S. Navy in 1989. John earned his Journeys License one year from separation in 1990 and received his Master’s License in 2017. John has worked in all aspects of the electrical trade – from running a service van, to supervising small projects, to being Project Superintendent on larger projects. He is experienced in Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, MS Word and EXCEL and brings a wealth of electrical and jobsite management experience to the table.

Robert Schatz

Senior Estimator

Robert served in the U.S. Army and was recruited by Kevin Richardson out of Fort Hood in 1998. Robert attended and graduated the IEC Apprenticeship School in Dallas, TX. Robert has 20 years of experience in the electrical industry.

Robert oversees all estimating for Kevco Electrical and is the company’s IT person. Robert has exceptional computer skills and is proficient in computer based estimating software. Robert handles all our Design Build projects from design, engineering to CAD lay out and drawings.

Keith Howen

Director of Estimating and Pre-Construction

Keith has over 30 years of estimating experience in the electrical construction industry. Keith has been to be proven mentor and group leader who excels in lean processes. Possesses exceptional written and oral communication skills. Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional (LBBP). Possessing strong problem solving and common-sense attributes. Keith has exceptional skills in computer based estimating software which make him a valuable team member.

Ron Smiley

Vice President / Service & Safety Manager

Ron has been with Kevco since 2015 and has over 30 years of electrical experience. Ron graduated in 1998 from the IEC Apprenticeship Program in Fort Worth, Texas. As Service Manager, he provides great leadership when working with our Service Techs. He also has extensive knowledge in providing quotes, job tracking and invoicing. In the role of Special Projects Manager, he is very detail oriented while managing multiple projects. He has excellent communication skills and completes the job(s) in a timely manner.

John Powers

Assistant Service Manager/Estimator

John has over 8 years of experience and has recently been promoted to Assistant Service Manager. He has been with Kevco Electrical since 2014. John attended and completed the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) Apprenticeship Program in Dallas, Texas. While attending, he received the IEC Outstanding Apprentice 2014-2018 Award and finished 4th overall in the National IEC Apprentice of the Year Competition. John also contributes to the estimating department.

Oscar Miranda


Oscar has over 8 years of experience in the electrical trade, coupled with a passion for precision estimating. As a Licensed Journeyman Electrician, he understands the intricacies of electrical systems and construction processes. his background in web-app based development equips him with a unique perspective. He knows the ins and outs of construction software, including tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, and ConEst. Oscar doesn’t rely on guesswork. His approach is data-driven, analyzing project details meticulously. Whether it’s a Design Build or an Engineered project, Oscar combines his electrical trade expertise with his computer skills to generate high-quality estimates.

Amberly Garcia

Office Administrator

Amberly is a member of the Office Administration Department, with a strong focus on AIA Payment Application and Collections.  With a strong understanding of the invoice payment cycle, she analyzes and researches financial transactions to ensure accuracy and payment. Amberly has industry experience in office management, financial oversight and compliance.  With her attention to detail and structure, she streamlines operational flow and offers support to colleagues and clients.

Monica Anthony

Office Administrator / HR

Monica manages our daily office tasks from greeting clients to project coordination. Monica is very organized and structured which allows her to maintain a high level of efficiency. Monica also assist with AR, AP, Payroll and collections. Her HR skills are valuable in working with employees and their benefit plans as well as insurance compliance.
